In this session, Sr. Talent Acquisition Executives will share how their respective companies are putting their diversity and inclusion plans into action. Leaders will share what commitments their companies have made, how their plans have changed and what this means to their talent acquisition initiatives and goals and share what is working for them.
Global Diversity Officer
Christopher Rowland was appointed ManpowerGroup’s Global Diversity Officer in June 2016. As Global Diversity Officer, Rowland oversees the advancement of ManpowerGroup’s long-term D&I strategy and execution. Rowland has been with the company since 2007, previously serving as Managing Director for ManpowerGroup Solutions. At ManpowerGroup, Rowland collaborates with the senior leadership team to implement culture and talent strategies that leverage diversity and inclusion across the company’s 80 countries and territories and throughout the ManpowerGroup family of brands.
Diversity, Inclusion & Belonging Recruitment
Kathy Goss is a passionate diversity, equity and inclusion professional with nearly two decades of experience enacting tangible change within organizations. In prior roles at Accenture and LinkedIn she’s led programs in a wide range of talent management areas including diversity succession planning, recruitment, retention, cultural awareness and employee development and advancement. She currently serves as the Director of Diversity, Inclusion & Belonging Recruitment at ServiceNow, building their first diversity recruiting function and team from the ground up. Kathy graduated from Northwestern University with a B.S. in Learning & Organizational Change. She also serves on the Board of Directors for Chicago SHRM as the Director of Diversity. Kathy lives in the Chicago area with her husband, 3 kids, and their Redbone Coonhound rescue dog.
Vice President, Human Resources
Rae Ali leads Legacy’s human resources organization in the areas of talent management, culture & employee engagement, leadership & development, and rewards & compensation. In her 20 years of senior HR experience, Rae has helped lead organizations encountering explosive organic growth and rapid change across a span of industries: retail, education, healthcare, and hospitality. Before joining Legacy, she was the Vice President of HR for Round the Table Hospitality, a family of companies including Blue Plate. Rae previously held leadership roles in human resources for R1 RCM (formerly Accretive Health), La Petite Academy, and Blockbuster. Rae received a bachelor’s degree in communications from Loyola University with a minor in Spanish. She is a proud Chicago native and lives in River North.
Talent Acquisition Leader
Paul joined Huron in 2011 to rebuild the talent acquisition organization. His team deploys best in class recruiting strategies that have transformed and enhanced all elements of the recruiting process. Huron’s 45-person talent acquisition team recruit 800-1000 annually. He has been actively involved in Huron’s Diversity & Inclusion initiatives. Prior to Huron, he led TA teams at; CCC Information Services, ADP, Deloitte, and JPMorgan Chase.. He began his recruiting career in retained search.
